Clean Area Rug

Clean area rug will prevent any bugs or dust hiding between carpet fiber. To get clean area rug, you have to do rug/carpet cleaning or carpet washing regularly. Rug/Carpet cleaning can be done weekly, this is categorized as light maintenance. But if the environment is quite dusty, clean area rug twice a week. To do light maintenance clean area rug you can use simplicity vacuums. Carpet washing or clean are rug thoroughly is categorized as heavy duty maintenance and can be done once in 6 month.
Useful Tricks to Clean Stain on Carpet/Rug area

1. Candle wax stain
To clean candle wax stain on rug, cover the affected rug with one piece of brown paper. Place a hot iron above it for few minutes, then remove the paper. You will find that candle wax will be melted and absorbed by the paper. Part of area rug will clean again.

2. Stench of urine
Widen the rug and then pour the affected rug area with hot water (boiling water). Stench of urine at the rug will disappear immediately. You can also use towel or cotton cloth which has been poured with hot water mixed with soap, rub it out several times until the affected area on rug is clean.
