How to Clean A Sofa

A lot of sofas (sofa 2 seaters, sofa 3 seaters, arm chair/arm sofa, or ottoman) are used for living room, lounge, family room, or as garden/outdoor furniture. Sofa has become part of people life style especially at city areas.
Many ways to clean a dirty sofa will depend on sofa types. Commonly sofa’s cover will last for 5 (five) years. It is better to change the sofa’s cover after 5 years.
Sometimes sofas are often use but not being taken care properly, sofa is in dirty condition so sofas will not be a comfort place again for sitting down.
You need to pay attention to clean a sofa and take care of it. Taking care and clean a sofa is quite simple, it is not too complex. To make sure sofa is clean and comfortable enough, you need to take care it regularly. You do not need to do it frequently.

Regularly, continuously, and the right process are the key of success to take care and clean a sofa.
Direct sunlight or any light that is irradiate sofas will cause sofa colors are easily faded. Sunlight and dust also cause leather and sofa’s cover get crack. Avoid placing sofas closed to light sources.
For sofas use leather as cover, you have to take care it regularly by using the special material. If sofa’s leather is affected by stain, wash it out immediately using soft sponge wetted with water and mild soap; wipe it until leather surface thoroughly dry.

Some shops are selling leather furniture cleaner and conditioner special for sofa’s leather. Use this special leather furniture cleaner and conditioner every 3 (three) months. But please be careful, not use it too often as leather surface is very sensitive to chemical liquid. Use it too often will damaged the sofa leather.
